Public Transportation
From O’HARE: Take the BLUE Line CTA EL train to the Jefferson Park stop (located in the middle of I-90/94). There is a large outdoor bus terminal. Transfer to the #92 Foster Avenue bus Eastbound to Paulina Street (1700 West). Walk across the street.
From MIDWAY: Take the ORANGE Line CTA EL train to the Roosevelt Road station. Get off and transfer free to the RED Line, which is two stories down in the subway (Watch the Destination Signs on the Train). Take the RED Line - Howard CTA EL train north to the Berwyn Avenue stop (5300 North). This is one block North of Foster Avenue (5200 North).***
***You can transfer to a #92 Foster bus at the EL stop. The bus will be facing East but it turns around and runs West on Foster Avenue to Paulina Avenue (1700 West) (in front of the Church), or you can walk West the 5 blocks to the church from the EL.
From DOWNTOWN/AMTRAK: If you arrive via Amtrak ask directions in Union Station to the Quincy Street (220 South) and Wells Street (200 West) BROWN Line elevated station. Take the BROWN Line CTA EL train (Watch the Destination Signs on the Train) Get off at the Belmont Station stop. Free transfer across the platform to the RED line – Howard. Take it North and get off at the Berwyn Station stop. See *** above.
Bus: Take the #22 Clark Street to Foster Avenue (5200 North). Walk 2 blocks West to Paulina Avenue (1700 West) to the church.
Driving Directions
From I-94 Northbound: Exit 42 at WEST Foster Avenue (5200 North). You have to turn right onto Foster and then find a street to turn around and head back East 3.9 miles to 1650 W. Foster.
From I-94 Northbound: Exit 43C Montrose (4400 North), East to Pulaski (4000 West), north on Pulaski to Foster, East on Foster to 1650 W. Foster.
Lake Shore Drive: Exit at Foster Avenue (5200 North). Drive West 1 mile on Foster Avenue (5200 North) to 1650 W. Foster.
Parking: there is plenty of street parking in the vicinity of the church.
